It is an auto-adaptation un-managed media converter that provides an interface between 1000BASE-TX RJ45 Ethernet & 1000BASE-FX single-mode SC ports, allowing users to integrate fiber optic cabling into 1000 Base-TX copper environments. The Media Converter features automatic MDI/MDI-X configuration, and the UTP port senses the network speed automatically. Auto-detects half or full duplex operation on the fiber port.
